Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces Personnel Changes for 1,439 Teachers and 190 Education Specialists
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education carried out personnel appointments for 1,629 individuals, including principals, effective September 1.
The Office announced on the 1st that it focused on appointing leaders who will realize student-tailored education through future-oriented class evaluations and establish a new education system based on autonomy, appointing a total of 1,629 personnel, including 1,439 teachers and 190 education specialists.
In particular, the personnel appointments for education specialists focused on placing talents in the right positions to create a new path for public education through change, opportunity, and challenge.
Additionally, 21 education specialist positions were added. These specialists plan to drive the momentum for Gyeonggi education policies such as ▲integration of early childhood education and care ▲operation of Neulbom School ▲establishment of AI education infrastructure ▲strengthening digital-based education ▲improvement of classroom evaluation ▲establishment of a credit recognition system outside school ▲operation of the School Violence Zero Center.

Lee Hyun-sook, head of the Teacher Personnel Division at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, stated, "Educational change can be realized through teachers' voluntary participation and practice, and personnel policies as a driving force to create such a school culture are very important," adding, "We will actively discover outstanding talents necessary to expand students' future competencies and pursue the essence of school education by establishing a fair and efficient personnel system going forward."
