"Providing Care for Severely Disabled" Yongin City Opens Care Center in Cheoin-gu
Temporary Care and Accommodation Provided When Guardian Is Absent
On the 1st, Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will establish and begin operating the "All-day Care Center for the Disabled" at the social welfare corporation "Haedeunsol" located in Baegam-myeon, Cheoin-gu.
The "All-day Care Center for the Disabled" is a welfare facility that temporarily provides care and residential space when caregivers who take care of severely disabled persons at home are absent.

In May, the city selected "Haedeunsol," a residential facility for the disabled, as the operating institution through a recruitment process for project execution agencies. Haedeunsol utilizes some residential spaces within the facility to provide care services and offers convenience by allowing free use of the physical therapy room and rehabilitation programs within the facility.
The center's users are severely disabled persons living at home, with a maximum capacity of 4 people: 2 males and 2 females. The types of admission to the center are divided into "emergency" and "general." Emergency admission can be used in urgent situations such as the hospitalization or family events of the caregiver. However, emergency admission requires separate proof documents such as a hospitalization certificate.
