With consecutive days of heat exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, crowds are flocking to famous summer resorts nationwide. On weekends, major highways suffer from heavy traffic caused by vacationers. Trying to escape the heat often leads to exhaustion on the road.
Looking around, there are surprisingly many affordable day-trip summer spots that can be enjoyed without embarking on a long journey. A representative place is 'Yongin Nongchon Theme Park' located in Wonsam-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.
