Ramen Restaurant Participant Briefing Session Held, 35 Teams Show Great Interest
Official Gumi Ramen Festival Website to Launch Soon... Full-Scale Festival Preparations Underway
On the 29th, the city of Gumi in North Gyeongsang Province held an information session for local merchants interested in operating the ramen restaurant (food zone) at the '2024 Gumi Ramen Festival.'
A total of 35 teams participated in the session, showing high interest.
This year, a final selection of 15 to 20 teams will run the food zone under the concept of 'The World's Longest Ramen Restaurant.'
Participants will use freshly fried ramen as the basic ingredient and receive support for professional recipe improvement and plating training from a food director.
In addition, the official website for the 2024 Gumi Ramen Festival (gumi-ramyeon.com) is about to launch. With its opening in early August, various events will be held to attract public interest and actively promote the festival both domestically and internationally.
The 2024 Gumi Ramen Festival will be held for three days starting November 1. Centered around Yeokjeon-ro, the main festival venue, a variety of cultural events and unique festivities will take place throughout Gumi, including Munhwaro, Jungang Market, Geumridan-gil, and Geumosan.
