Shake Shack to Open Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport Branch in September
'Hoding Art' Displayed on Temporary Barriers Until Opening
Pre-Event for Hoding Certification Shots Underway
Shake Shack, a fine casual brand operated by SPC, announced on the 30th that it will open a new store at Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, in September.
Before the opening of the Gimpo Lotte Mall store, Shake Shack will showcase hoarding art (artworks painted on temporary construction barriers) from the start of construction until before the opening. With each store opening, Shake Shack communicates with the local community through hoarding art and operates events, creating a unique culture of public art that customers can participate in.
This hoarding art, created in collaboration with illustrator Unari, is themed "Colorful Shack Shack" and depicts people of various nationalities harmonizing with Shake Shack in a bright and lively atmosphere. Reflecting the characteristics of the commercial area near the airport, it conveys the hope that diverse people will visit Shake Shack and fill the space with a cheerful vibe.
To celebrate the opening of the Gimpo Lotte Mall store, Shake Shack will hold a pre-event. Customers who scan the QR code attached to the hoarding and add Shake Shack’s KakaoTalk channel as a friend will receive a coupon to exchange for "Shack Sunglasses." Additionally, customers who take a certification photo in front of the hoarding will be entered into a draw to win mobile gift certificates.
