Woojin Entech Wins 29.8 Billion KRW Contract for Hanbit Unit 2 Power Plant Maintenance
Woojinentec, a specialized company in maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment for nuclear and thermal power plants, is securing stable order volumes based on excellent technology and business execution capabilities.
On the 29th, Woojinentec announced that it had received an order for routine maintenance services from Hanbit Unit 2 Power Plant. The total contract amount is 29.8 billion KRW, of which Woojinentec's share is 15.2 billion KRW (51% stake). The contract period is three years, from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2027.
Since its establishment in 2013, Woojinentec has been performing routine maintenance services for Hanbit Unit 2 Power Plant. Currently, it is carrying out routine maintenance services for a total of 8 units at 4 domestic nuclear power plants, including Hanbit Unit 2.
Routine maintenance services cover daily upkeep of major equipment within nuclear power plants as well as prompt repair and restoration in case of failures. In addition to routine maintenance, Woojinentec is capable of performing all maintenance fields throughout the nuclear power plant lifecycle, including commissioning works, planned preventive maintenance, and decommissioning maintenance.

A Woojinentec official stated, “As the operation and utilization rates of nuclear power plants have recently increased, maintenance demand is also expanding,” adding, “Based on our technological competitiveness and stable operational capabilities, we will continue to expand our order volume in the power plant maintenance sector.”
