Busan Urban Corporation Holds Resident Briefing for Gaegum 2 Rental Apartments... Communication on Facility Improvements
Doing Our Best to Improve Residents' Living Environment and Ensure Safety
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) recently held a residents' briefing session to share the progress of the facility improvement project for the public rental apartments in the Gaegum 2 District.
These apartments, consisting of six buildings and 990 households, have faced ongoing complaints from residents about inconveniences caused by aging facilities, as more than 30 years have passed since their completion.
The briefing session, held on the 11th, was organized to inform residents about the details of the facility improvement project before its commencement and to gather a wide range of opinions to address these issues.
During the session, residents requested advance notice of the construction schedule for each building and the installation of safety passages during the work. BMC plans to actively reflect these opinions in the course of the project moving forward.
To enhance the residential welfare of public rental apartment residents, BMC is carrying out various facility improvement works this year, including the replacement of fire extinguishing pipes, replacement of nine elevators, repainting of exterior walls, and replacement of emergency generators.
