The youth organization 'Dalbit Forest' in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, held an environmental forum on the 26th at a cafe in Saesil Village, Yeongam-eup, marking the opening ceremony of the youth village.

Selected as a '2024 Youth Village' by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, they laid the foundation for the future at the cafe on that day.

The environmental forum was held under the theme "Seeing the Forest, Not Just the Trees," where Min Kim, representative of the youth environmental organization 'Big Wave,' and Mi-rim Jo, CEO of Jaejakso Co., Ltd., engaged in discussions with village residents and youth.
At the forum, they analyzed climate and environmental issues from the perspectives of the region and youth and explored practical solutions. The following day, on the 27th, they shared Yeongam's climate and ecology while taking a walk through Wolchulsan and Dogapsa Valley.
These activities demonstrate a commitment to maximizing local resources to promote the region's appeal and prepare for a sustainable future.
Representative Seo-jin Jeong stated, "We will widely promote the charm of Yeongam and open a sustainable future where youth and the local community work together," adding, "Dalbit Forest will continue to spread hope and change to more people."
