Realizing ESG Values Through Separate Disposal of Discarded Umbrellas
Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Director Eom Youngseok) recently announced on the 25th that it participated in the 'Zero Waste Project' organized by the Gangseo-gu Volunteer Center in Busan, conducting a volunteer activity for the separation and disposal of discarded umbrellas.
This volunteer activity, held on the 18th in collaboration with the Gangseo-gu Volunteer Center, took place in the small conference room of the main building of Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam with the active participation of 20 employees. The staff of the Korea Racing Authority separated the fabric and frames of 50 broken umbrellas, sorting them into recyclable resources.
Lee Hyunju, a staff member from the Busan Operations Support Department who prepared the volunteer activity, said, "I believe that small efforts and changes that can be easily practiced in daily life, like this activity, will have a positive impact on the environment," adding, "With continued interest in environmental issues, we will practice ESG values and fulfill our social responsibilities as a public enterprise."

Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam is striving to protect the environment and ensure a sustainable future by participating in various activities to establish a culture of carbon neutrality in daily life, such as maintaining appropriate indoor temperatures during summer, unplugging electronic devices after work, running in-house campaigns to reduce disposable products, collecting and donating waste resources, participating in beach clean-ups, and knitting winter clothes for street trees.
