Yangsan City Successfully Holds Opening Event for Yangsan Tower 3D Science Experience Playground
A New Space for Science Experiences: Opening of the 3D Science Experience Playground
Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, announced that the opening event for the Yangsan Tower 3D Science Experience Playground was successfully concluded on the 21st.
The event offered a unique opportunity to experience the latest Transformer transforming robots, enjoy a virtual ocean safari by riding a bicycle, and travel the world in real time with VR glasses. Over two days, more than 1,300 visitors attended, receiving enthusiastic responses from both children and adults.
The event showcased a variety of cutting-edge content that went beyond traditional science experiences. Visitors were fascinated by directly experiencing the amazing technology of the Transformer robots, and enjoyed adventurous experiences such as virtual cave exploration and Saturn exploration by riding bicycles.
Additionally, by wearing VR glasses, visitors could travel to Italy without boarding a plane, gaining great satisfaction from unique experiences that are usually hard to access.
In the living science booth area set up alongside the VR experience, children and teenagers participated in science experiments and play programs. Through these programs, participants were able to develop interest and enjoyment in science, but there was some disappointment as the limited capacity could not accommodate all visitors.
The Yangsan Tower 3D Science Experience Playground will be open until early December, and instead of the content presented at the opening event, additional programs such as creative experience classes will be provided. Through this, visitors will be able to continuously enjoy various science experiences and creative educational programs.
The experience venue is located at the PR Center on the 6th floor of Yangsan Tower, and advance reservations must be made on the Yangsan 3D Science Experience Center website.
Park Sukjin, Director of Information and Statistics, said, "I hope this 3D Science Experience Playground opening event provided many citizens with new experiences and enjoyment," and added, "We will continue to promote science culture and increase citizens' interest and participation through various programs in the future."
