To Secure National Budget and Advance Key Projects
Miryang City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 17th that Mayor Ahn Byunggu visited the National Assembly on the 16th to discuss cooperation measures with National Assembly member Park Sangwoong for securing national funds and promoting key projects.

View original imageDuring the meeting, they discussed proposals for national funding to support local development, including the Gyodong Urban Regeneration Project, the Geojok and Anchon District Sewer Maintenance Project, and the Sinhogigu Village Sewer Installation Project. They also discussed ways to ensure the smooth progress of key projects such as the Phase 2 development of the Miryang Nano-Convergence National Industrial Complex, response to and attraction of the second round of public institution relocations from the Seoul metropolitan area, and the establishment of the Korea Polytechnics Miryang Campus. In particular, they formed a consensus and exchanged opinions on support measures for the establishment of the Gyeongnam Specialized Agro-Food Export Processing Cluster and the construction of the Gimhae-Miryang Expressway.
