The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development announced on the 17th that it held the ‘Inno Wave Reverse Pitching Day’ event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul to promote collaboration between leading-edge startups and large and medium-sized enterprises.
For startups in new industries to enter the global market, collaboration through open innovation with large and medium-sized enterprises that possess infrastructure and domestic and international networks is essential. This event was organized to help startups find collaboration partners, with 25 large and medium-sized enterprises including LG Display and SK Ecoplant, and 98 leading-edge startups participating.
At the event, startups proposed collaboration projects in response to demand technologies presented by large and medium-sized enterprises. Following this, the first round of evaluation by a panel consisting of demand companies and technical experts will be conducted, and the final evaluation is scheduled to take place at the ‘Inno Wave Day’ in September.
