Buk Course 36-Hole Turf Replacement Reopens on 20th
Improvement of Terrain and Turf Around Greens
One-Way System Introduced from September
Montvert Country Club in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, will reopen on the 20th.
The turf on the fairways and roughs of the North Course (Printemps, ?t?) has been replaced. All 261,409㎡ (approximately 79,000 pyeong) of turf has been changed to Zoysia grass. Previously, Kentucky bluegrass, bentgrass, Zoysia grass, and Poa grass were mixed. In addition to turf replacement, the terrain and turf around the greens were also improved.
Since being acquired by Donghwa Group's M Park in November last year, Montvert CC has appointed CEO Jo Geon-jin, a former KBS announcer, who has carried out various improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. CEO Jo stated, "The turf replacement is expected to improve the golf course's aesthetics and enhance golfers' shot quality, thereby increasing customer satisfaction," adding, "Starting in September, we will introduce a one-way system where all golfers begin from the 1st hole, aiming to elevate the course to a prestigious status."
