Exchange Holds 'KRX Happy Economy Newspaper Classroom' Launch Ceremony and Orientation
The Korea Exchange announced on the 16th that it held the launch ceremony and orientation for the 'KRX Happy Economic Newspaper Classroom.'

At the launch ceremony, Hwang Woo-kyung, Secretary General of the KRX National Happiness Foundation, Park Won-bae, CEO of Econoi Co., Ltd., NIE (Newspaper In Education) professional instructors, and representatives from local children's centers attended, during which instructor appointments and a project briefing were conducted.
Through the orientation, the purpose of the project, support plans, and schedule were explained, and efficient class operation methods were discussed through meetings between appointed professional instructors and representatives of the dispatched local children's centers.
The 'KRX Happy Economic Newspaper Classroom' is a new project promoted by the Korea Exchange to improve economic understanding among children in the Busan area.
Through this project, the Exchange plans to dispatch 10 NIE professional instructors and provide education using children's economic newspapers to approximately 250 children at 20 local children's centers over four months starting at the end of this month.

Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, stated, "I hope that children will not only learn real-life economic principles through reading economic newspapers but also develop the ability to think by learning information on various topics." He added, "The Exchange will continue to expand multifaceted support to establish sound financial values among children and to bridge the gap in economic education."
