This year, 1,200 overseas Korean youth will visit Incheon, Gyeongju, and Seoul over four sessions starting from the 15th, each lasting 6 nights and 7 days, held weekly. This is the largest scale ever, and during the 2 nights and 3 days stay in Incheon, 600 local youth will also participate.
This training is the first large-scale official event held in Incheon since the launch of the Overseas Koreans Foundation. The city stated that it plans to showcase the vision and charm of Incheon, a city embracing 10 million overseas Koreans, to overseas Korean youth who are not familiar with Korean culture.
During their 2 nights and 3 days stay in Incheon, the training group will visit Arago in Seo-gu and Yale High School in Gyeyang-gu to strengthen networking with Incheon students. They will also tour bio and advanced industry companies such as Samsung Biologics, GMTCK, and Sumbi, as well as Inspire Le Space. Additionally, they will experience Incheon's history and culture through a tour of the Open Port area.
