Gmarket to Support New Smile Delivery Sellers with Up to 4 Months of Logistics Storage Fees
Free Storage Fees for Consignment and Logistics Center Products
Up to 50% Discount on Fulfillment Operating Costs
Gmarket announced on the 16th that it will run an operational support promotion for new Smile Delivery seller sign-ups until September 30. The promotion offers benefits such as reducing logistics costs for new sellers and supporting initial sales promotion.
First, it fully supports product inbound and storage costs. The free inbound fee support is provided by waiving the usage fee for 'Smile Pickup,' a service where Gmarket directly handles the seller's product inbound to the logistics center. This benefit applies when at least five boxes of products are inbounded within four months, including the month of sign-up. Additionally, product storage costs within the logistics center are fully supported, with benefits provided for up to four months from the sign-up date.

Logistics center operation costs are also discounted by 50%. Costs incurred during operations such as inbound/outbound, product packaging, and customer service handling are offered at half price for four months from the sign-up date. Operation costs for 'Smile Delivery Cold Storage Center' products, which target frozen and refrigerated items, are also discounted by 10%.
Marketing support measures to aid sales promotion are also provided. Gmarket covers the cost of discount coupons that new sellers can apply to their Smile Delivery products, specifically the '10% Welcome Coupon.' This coupon is provided for one month upon the first registration of Smile Delivery products, and consumers using this coupon can enjoy a discount benefit of up to 5,000 KRW.
Jang Yul-gyeom, head of Gmarket Fulfillment Sales Team, said, "This promotion was prepared to help sellers using Smile Delivery for the first time start successfully," adding, "We fully support major logistics costs incurred in online business, as well as operation and product discount costs, so we hope many new sellers show interest."
