Amid the recent shooting of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump, a post threatening to terrorize Han Dong-hoon, the People Power Party's candidate for party leader, was uploaded online, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
On the 15th, the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency explained that they received a 112 report stating that a post titled "Han Dong-hoon is coming with a knife" was uploaded on an online internet community. The poster wrote at 10:50 a.m. on the internet community, along with a photo of candidates Han Dong-hoon and Won Hee-ryong together, "Stay still," and "I am coming for revenge with eggs and a knife."

After confirming the post, the Chungbuk Cyber Crime Investigation Unit plans to track the IP address to identify the suspect. A police official said, "A resident living in Chungbuk saw the post and reported it to the police agency." The police are reportedly taking protective measures, such as deploying patrol cars around Han’s residence in preparation for any possible situation.
