Wishing for the Successful Hosting of the National Para Games
County Governor Sung Nakin Says, "Please Show Great Interest in the Events Held in Changnyeong"
Changnyeong County, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 15th that it participated in the "Relay Challenge for the Successful Hosting of the 105th National Sports Festival and the 44th National Para Games" on the 12th, wishing for the successful hosting of these events.
This challenge was joined by Changnyeong County Governor Sung Nakin, Changnyeong County Sports Council President Kim Bohak, and Changnyeong County Disabled Sports Council Secretary General Lim Jaemun. The relay challenge, which started in the main host city of Gimhae, is being carried out by the governor of Gyeongnam Province, mayors, and county governors in relay format to raise awareness about hosting the National (Para) Sports Festival in Gyeongnam and to create a positive atmosphere for the successful hosting of the event.

The National (Para) Sports Festival, being held in Gyeongnam for the first time in 14 years, will take place in October with Gimhae as the main venue and throughout the entire province. In Changnyeong County, the cycling events for both the National Sports Festival and the National Para Games, as well as the archery event for the National Para Games, will be held at four different venues.
Governor Sung said, "I sincerely wish for the success of both major sports festivals and hope for great interest in the events (archery and cycling) being held in Changnyeong County." He added, "I encourage everyone to visit Changnyeong County, which is Korea's first hot spring city and the first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Yeongnam region, to enjoy nature and sports, and to relieve accumulated fatigue."
