Yun Byeongtae, Mayor of Naju, Encourages Employees on Mutual Respect Day During Commute
Yun Byeong-tae, Mayor of Naju City, Jeollanam-do, spent time communicating with employees in the city hall lobby on the morning of the 11th to mark "Mutual Respect Day."
According to the city, Mutual Respect Day is designated on the 11th of every month to promote the eradication of workplace power harassment and the spread of a clean organizational culture, meaning "mutually respecting and caring for each other (1=1)."
On the 11th, Mayor Yoon Byung-tae held an event in the city hall lobby for employees on their way to work to convey the meaning of mutual respect in celebration of 'Mutual Respect Day.'

They actively promote a culture of mutual respect among employees, including using honorific language with each other, greeting with a smile, exchanging compliments, refraining from insulting or sexist remarks, and listening attentively to others.
Mayor Yun Byeong-tae and employees from the Audit Office supported a lively workday by sharing coffee with employees on their way to work and conducting a mutual respect sticker vote with warm greetings.
They also promoted the "Power Harassment Counseling Center," operated in connection with the Korea Integrity Movement Headquarters.
The counseling center serves as a communication channel where employees can consult external experts to determine whether certain behavior constitutes power harassment before filing a formal report.

Mayor Yun said, "I hope all public officials will join in breaking down the walls of mutual understanding and communication to create a happy workplace where work is enjoyable," adding, "Let us all move forward with one heart to realize a trusted Naju City administration through improved internal integrity."
