KG Hallis F&B, the operator of Hallis, will absorb and merge its subsidiary KG Fresh.
KG Hallis F&B, a comprehensive food and dining company, announced on the 11th that it signed a merger agreement with KG Fresh on the 10th to strengthen its competitiveness. KG Group acquired KG Hallis F&B in 2020 and entered the food business by incorporating KG Fresh, a B2B (business-to-business) meat processing specialist, as a subsidiary in 2022.
KG Group expects synergy effects as KG Hallis F&B, which operates consumer-targeted businesses, merges with KG Fresh, which operates corporate-targeted businesses, to become a comprehensive food and dining company. The two companies have collaborated in various ways, such as jointly launching the 'Hallis Grill Chicken Breast' product and selling meat-based sandwich product lines.
