Korea Housing Finance Corporation Leads in Raising Awareness of Information Security Importance
In Celebration of Information Security Month: Regional Win-Win Joint Cybersecurity Campaign
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced that it will conduct a 'Regional Win-Win Joint Cybersecurity Campaign' in July, which is designated as Information Security Month, in collaboration with the National Intelligence Service, public institutions in the Busan region, Korea Securities Depository, and BNK Busan Bank.
The participating public institutions in the Busan region include Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation, Korea Asset Management Corporation, and Korea Ocean Business Corporation.
This campaign was organized to emphasize the importance of cybersecurity in response to rising domestic and international security threats, such as the recent waste balloon attacks by North Korea and the hacking of Indonesia's national data center.
Accordingly, until the 31st, HF Corporation plans to carry out a variety of activities, including: ▲ Participation in an SNS relay campaign with Choi Junwoo, President of HF Corporation, and heads of public institutions in Busan ▲ Posting of cybersecurity prevention posters ▲ Cybersecurity quiz events for employees ▲ Distribution of promotional materials emphasizing cybersecurity to Busan citizens.
