Korea Racing Authority Busan Dong-gu Branch Provides Donation to Prevent Malnutrition Among Vulnerable Groups
7 Million Won Delivered to Busan Hope Dream Center
Busan Dong-gu Branch of Korea Racing Authority (Branch Manager Park Heetae) announced on the 10th that it delivered a donation of 7 million KRW to Busan Hope Dream Center on the 4th to support the "Street Homeless Meal Support Project."
The donation ceremony held at Busan Hope Dream Center was attended by Park Heetae, Branch Manager of Busan Dong-gu Branch, and Jung Hyungjae, Director of Busan Hope Dream Center, along with other related personnel.
Busan Hope Dream Center, a social welfare facility established in 2021 in Dong-gu, Busan, operates comprehensive support services for the homeless, including meal services, in cooperation with the Busan Homeless Free Meal Council.
This donation will be used to provide high-quality meals to approximately 1,560 homeless individuals registered with Busan Hope Dream Center on holidays such as Chuseok and other special occasions.
An official from Korea Racing Authority stated that this initiative is expected to help prevent malnutrition among the homeless in the Busan area, alleviate social isolation, and provide emotional stability, thereby greatly supporting their motivation for self-reliance.
