Simmons Launches New 'Beautyrest' Product Featuring 'Super-Gap' Technology
Simmons Bed has launched a new product that consolidates 'super-gap' technology ahead of the 100th anniversary of the launch of the 'Beautyrest Collection.'
On the 10th, Simmons announced that, one year before the 100th anniversary of the Beautyrest Collection, it will introduce a new product that applies vanadium material to POSCO-manufactured domestic high-strength steel wire for the first time in Korea.
Vanadium increases the strength and temperature stability of steel and alloy, offering excellent flexibility, elasticity, and durability. It withstands extreme conditions such as high pressure and high temperature and is widely used as a special material in aerospace engineering technology.
The 'Simmons Vanadium Pocket Spring' applied in the new product has durability improved more than five times compared to existing ones. The pocket spring comes with an industry-leading 15-year free warranty period.
A Simmons representative explained, "With ▲ Radon and thoron safety product certification ▲ Ministry of Environment national official eco-friendly certification ▲ production of flame-retardant mattresses that do not easily catch fire, we have built a differentiated portfolio that proves safety beyond technology."
The new product uses carefully selected materials, including natural plant-based materials extracted from American cotton to improve breathability and heat retention, as well as natural plant-based ingredients extracted from soybeans.

The design has also been changed. The new Beautyrest product reinterprets the Beautyrest mattress fabric from the 1920s. Patterns such as big flowers and diamonds recreate the appearance of affluent households at that time.
