Distributor NEW announced on the 9th that Lee Yoon-chang's webtoon "My Daughter Who Became a Zombie" will be adapted into a film of the same name. The movie depicts the story of a doting father who secretly begins training to tame zombies in order to protect his daughter who has become a zombie.
Actor Jo Jung-suk plays Jeong-hwan, a father struggling to protect his zombie daughter from the world, and Lee Jung-eun portrays Bamsun, a lively grandmother living in a fishing village. Jo Yeo-jeong takes on the role of Yeon-hwa, Jeong-hwan's first love and a teacher newly assigned to the fishing village, while Yoon Kyung-ho plays Dong-bae, Jeong-hwan's longtime friend.
