Yeongju City to Provide Logistics Cost Support to Manufacturing Companies... Up to 3 Million Won
Easing Logistics Costs and Improving Productivity Expected for Small and Medium Enterprises
Yeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province, is implementing the 'SME Logistics Cost Support Project' to alleviate the logistics cost burden and improve productivity for local manufacturing companies.
This project provides support for logistics costs incurred in 2024, up to a maximum of 3 million KRW per company, targeting manufacturing companies that have registered their factories in Yeongju City and are operating normally as of the application date.
In particular, starting this year, companies that received support last year are also eligible, which is expected to improve the business environment and secure growth momentum for manufacturers through continued logistics cost assistance.
Companies wishing to participate can apply to the Northern Branch of the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency by submitting supporting documents for logistics expenses (including domestic transportation fees, warehouse storage fees, warehouse operation fees, logistics packaging fees, etc.) incurred during the project period (January 1, 2024, to November 30, 2024). Applications have been accepted on a rolling basis since the 5th of this month until the project budget is exhausted.
Kim Myungja, Head of the Business Support Division of Yeongju City, stated, "We hope that this logistics cost support project will help ease the management burden of local manufacturers and enhance their competitiveness."
