Professor Lee Jaehun of Yeungjin College (Department of Hotel, Aviation, and Tourism) received a commendation from the Minister of Food and Drug Safety for his contributions to the development of the traditional liquor industry.
According to the university on the 5th, Professor Lee Jaehun was awarded the Minister of Food and Drug Safety Commendation at the "17th Korean Cup Cocktail Competition" held at COEX in Seoul on the 4th. The event was organized by the Korea Beverage Master Association (formerly Bartender Association) and sponsored by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

This program, based on industry-academia cooperation, goes beyond theoretical education by collaborating with industry experts, allowing students to directly solve various issues arising in the traditional liquor manufacturing process and develop creative and practical skills.
Professor Lee stated, "With this award as motivation, I will work even harder to achieve both the development of the traditional liquor industry and the enhancement of students' capabilities."
