Ulsan Ulju-gun announced on the 5th that it is accepting support messages from all residents to promote the campaign for the KTX-Eum Namchang Station stop.
This all-residents support message campaign aims to spread the desire for the KTX-Eum Namchang Station stop and secure Ulju-gun's competitiveness in attracting the station.
Anyone who has affection for Ulju-gun, including its residents, can send a support message. The first submission deadline is until the 15th, and the second round of submissions will be accepted until the 31st.
Ulju County is holding a contest for support messages to attract the KTX-Eum Namchang Station stop.
View original imageParticipants can record a 10 to 30-second horizontal video of their "KTX-Eum Namchang Station Stop Support Message" with a smartphone and send it via email to the Ulju-gun Transportation Policy Division. Ulju-gun plans to actively use the submitted support messages to produce a promotional video reflecting the wishes of all residents for the campaign. An official from Ulju-gun stated, "We will do our utmost to realize the stop at KTX-Eum Namchang Station by gathering the wishes of 230,000 Ulju-gun residents," and added, "We hope you will send your enthusiastic support messages filled with your love for Ulju."
Previously, in May, Ulju-gun analyzed through a study on the expansion and improvement of the public transportation network that there is sufficient feasibility for the KTX-Eum Namchang Station stop. Based on the results of this study, the public and private sectors are now actively collaborating to attract the station.
