"Please Help Children with Pediatric Cancer"... IM Bank Daegu Bank Labor Union Donates 20 Million Won
The iM Bank Daegu Bank Branch of the National Financial Industry Labor Union (Chairman Baek Jino) announced that it has delivered a donation of 20 million KRW to the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer (Branch Director Jung Donguk) to support children with cancer.
The entire donation, delivered on the 3rd at the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer in Dong-gu, Daegu, was raised through the "1% Salary Sharing" campaign by iM Bank employees.

View original imageThe donation will be used to support medical and supplementary treatment expenses for families of children with cancer, taking into account their overall medical and financial situations, and will also be used for psychological therapy for children experiencing psychological and emotional difficulties.
Chairman Baek Jino stated, "We hope that the warm hearts of the iM Bank Daegu Bank Branch employees will provide at least a small help to children with cancer and their families, and we will continue to expand our support so that the children, who are the future of our society, can grow up smiling brightly."
Meanwhile, since 2007, the iM Bank Daegu Bank Branch of the National Financial Industry Labor Union, which has been at the forefront of supporting vulnerable groups in the region, has continued various sharing activities with social welfare organizations, including support for children, people with disabilities, kimchi-making events, and the Mentory Baseball Team. With the transition to a commercial bank this year, the branch plans to continue its ongoing support projects for vulnerable groups in the future.
