This Call Is Not a 'Loan'... Ulsan City Launches Smart Notification Service for Administrative Calls
From the 2nd, Promotion to Prevent and Correct Spam Misunderstandings
Ulsan City will launch a smart notification service to prevent administrative promotional calls from being mistaken as spam calls.
Ulsan City announced on the 1st that starting from the 2nd, it will implement an intelligent (smart) notification service for administrative calls to enhance citizen convenience and promote municipal policies.
The smart notification service for administrative calls displays an image on the smartphone screen indicating that the call is from Ulsan City before the call is answered, and after the call ends, a notification promoting municipal policies is provided.
This service was introduced to resolve situations where administrative calls are mistaken for spam, such as loan offers or advertisements, causing delays in connecting calls or administrative work.
The service will only be applied to administrative calls made from Ulsan City Hall departments, while the Ulsan City Council will operate a separate system.
The ARS app must be installed on the smartphone for the service to be visible, and for users whose smartphones do not support images, notifications will be sent via text message.
