The core contents of this agreement focus on promoting the marine healing industry, improving the welfare of affiliated employees, hosting various events and workshops utilizing marine healing facilities, and aiming for continuous exchange and cooperation for the development of the marine healing industry.
Lee Young-ho, chief of Wando Maritime Police Station, expressed his determination, saying, “We will actively support the marine healing industry based on Wando’s abundant marine resources to promote the growth of the local economy.”
In response, Mayor Shin Woo-cheol emphasized, “Since maritime police officers are highly likely to be exposed to musculoskeletal disorders and post-traumatic stress due to the nature of their duties, we will actively support them to achieve mental stability through marine healing.”
Through this agreement, the Wando region seeks new economic opportunities through the marine healing industry and provides necessary mental and physical stability to maritime police officers in the area, thereby ensuring both community development and safety.
Going forward, Wando Maritime Police Station and Wando County plan to promote various projects for community development through close cooperation.
