Arisel Appointed as Legal Counsel by Kim & Chang, Korea's Largest Law Firm
Arisel, a primary battery company located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi Province, has reportedly appointed Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in South Korea, as its legal counsel.
Firefighters are searching for missing persons at the Aricell factory, a primary battery manufacturer located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi Province.

According to investigative authorities on the 27th, Arisel has hired lawyers from Kim & Chang to respond to the police investigation.
It is also reported that Kim & Chang lawyers were present during the joint search and seizure conducted by the police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor at the Arisel factory and the residence of Arisel CEO Park Soon-kwan on the 26th.

Earlier, a fire broke out on the second floor of Building 3 at the Arisel factory at around 10:30 a.m. on the 24th, resulting in the deaths of 5 Koreans, 17 Chinese, and 1 Laotian, with 8 others injured. The identities of the 17 deceased have been confirmed, while DNA analysis is underway for the remaining 6.
