Gwangju City Election Commission Conducts Training on 'Women's Political Participation'
The Gwangju Metropolitan City Election Commission announced on the 26th that it conducted a training session on women's political participation for about 40 members, including community leaders, on the 25th at the 2nd-floor conference room of the Munhwa-dong Administrative Welfare Center.
The session included lectures on democracy and political and electoral systems, along with discussions on the significance of political participation by various groups, including women, and ways to promote it. A total of three sessions are scheduled to be held by October.
