327 Recipients Supported with a Total of 370 Million Won Over 10 Years
S-OIL (CEO: Anwar Al Hejazi) delivered a total of 50 million won in scholarships to the Korea Trucking Welfare Foundation (Chairman: Choi Kwangsik) on the 26th for the children of cargo truck drivers who have been victims of traffic accidents.

View original imageSince 2015, S-OIL has been providing scholarships to the children of cargo truck drivers who have suffered unexpected accidents while working, in order to support the economic and psychological stability of these families, who are unsung heroes of Korea's economic development.
Over the past 10 years, a total of 370 million won in scholarships has been provided to 327 students. The Korea Trucking Welfare Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2010 to improve the welfare of cargo truck drivers.
An S-OIL representative said, "When the head of a household who has supported their family through driving becomes a victim of a traffic accident, not only the driver but also their family faces great difficulties," adding, "S-OIL will continue to encourage cargo truck drivers and support the children of families experiencing financial hardship so they can focus on their studies in a stable environment, fulfilling our role as a socially responsible company."
