Hongseong-gun Hosts Special Exhibition for the 100th Anniversary of the Death of Jisan Kim Bok-han
Hongseong-gun, Chungnam announced on the 26th that it will hold a special exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Jisan Kim Bok-han until December.
The special exhibition "The Wind That Waited 100 Years, Jisan Kim Bok-han" showcases 39 artifacts in 31 items, including a timeline of Jisan Kim Bok-han and descendants of the Cheokhwa faction from Galmoe.
Mr. Kim, a native of Hongseong, was a Confucian scholar and independence activist during the late Joseon Dynasty and was posthumously awarded the Order of Independence Merit in 1963.

A county official said, "This special exhibition is the first to highlight historical figures from our region, focusing on the connection between Jisan Kim Bok-han and Hongseong-gun. We will continue to discover many historical figures at the history hall and work hard to collect related artifacts to prepare an exhibition that enriches historical and cultural resources."
