Boryeong City, New Sign-Up Event for Carbon Neutrality Points
Zero-Waste Items Provided to the First 200 People from July to September
Boryeong City in Chungnam announced on the 26th that it will hold a new subscription event for Carbon Neutral Points.
Carbon Neutral Points is a nationwide gas reduction system that provides carbon points based on reductions in electricity, water, and city gas usage.
So far, 8,385 people have signed up in the city, achieving a participation rate of 18.9%, ranking first in Chungnam.
The city plans to provide zero-waste items to 200 new subscribers from July to September to achieve a 20% participation rate.
The items can be picked up in person at the city hall and administrative welfare centers.

Kim Geon-ho, head of the Environmental Protection Division, said, "To respond to the climate crisis and realize carbon neutrality, it is important to make greenhouse gas reduction a daily habit," urging many to participate.
