The Gunsan CC Open is now in its 15th year. It is the only tournament in Korea sponsored by a golf course. Boasting a history of over 10 years, the Gunsan CC Open offers a winner's exemption for three years instead of two. Gunsan CC has been undergoing renovations since last year. To create a more challenging course setup, the fairway width has been significantly reduced, with A rough maintained at 40mm and B rough at 80mm. The green area, which averaged 1,100㎡ over 18 holes, has been reduced to 700?800㎡.
