Kolmar BNH Participates in Health Supplement Expo in China... "Growing Interest in Proprietary Formulations"
Visited booths of over 300 companies for consultations
Visitors showed interest in self-developed new formulations
Colmar BNH, an ODM company specializing in health functional food manufacturing and development, announced on the 25th that it participated in the world's largest health functional food expo, '2024 HNC Expo,' held in Shanghai, China from the 19th to the 21st.
At this expo, Colmar BNH operated promotional booths divided into three zones: tasting, new items, and finished products, showcasing its own formulation and packaging technologies backed by 20 years of experience as Korea's largest health functional food manufacturer.
They also exhibited various new formulations and visually appealing products such as double tablets, multi PTP, and multi-vials to attract visitors' curiosity.
During the event, companies interested in the Korean health functional food business continued to visit. Over 300 companies visited the Colmar BNH booth and participated in consultations.
Visitors showed interest in new formulations recently developed by Colmar BNH, including plant-based chewable soft capsules and mini tablet-in-capsules. The plant-based chewable soft capsule is a soft capsule that can be chewed and consumed without water, featuring improved chewability through the application of new materials and adjustment of solid content. It can be produced in various flavors such as fruit and mint chocolate, as well as in various capsule shapes. A patent application related to the soft capsule film composition is underway.
The mini tablet-in-capsule is a capsule formulation independently developed by Colmar BNH, which contains small tablets inside the capsule for easy consumption. It is characterized by improved stability of the physical properties and active ingredients by separating and inputting functional ingredients into the mini tablets.
A Colmar BNH representative stated, "As the status of K-health functional foods rises, the fact that Colmar BNH owns the local subsidiary factory, Jiangsu Colmar, also attracted much attention," adding, "We plan to further accelerate exports by participating in 'Vitafoods Asia 2024' held in Thailand this September and promoting our global competitiveness."

Meanwhile, Colmar BNH's Chinese subsidiary, Jiangsu Colmar, obtained CNAS certification for a total of nine items this year, including six physicochemical analyses and three functional ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin B1, and vitamin B2. CNAS is a Chinese national accreditation body equivalent to Korea's KOLAS under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's National Institute of Technology and Standards. By acquiring CNAS certification, Colmar BNH can strengthen its trade competitiveness within China by saving time and processes during export.
