Busan Office of Education Holds Educational Administration Council with Busan City
Discussion on Cooperation for Five Major Regional Education Issues on the 25th
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) and the Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Hyungjoon) will hold the "2024 First Half Education Administration Council" at 4:30 PM on the 25th in the strategy conference room of the Office of Education.
At this council, the two organizations will come together to discuss cooperation measures on regional education issues and ways to establish a high-quality educational foundation.
The Office of Education plans to request cooperation from the city on two issues, including support for the operation of Autonomous Public High School 2.0, while the city will request cooperation from the Office of Education on three issues, including the creation of artist creative spaces utilizing closed schools.

Ha Yoonsoo, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, stated, "This council, following the joint application for designation as a special education development zone pilot area with Busan City last February, will serve as a foundation for making Busan a great place to raise and educate children," and added, "The Office of Education and Busan City will be strong partners so that Busan can play a leading role in embracing education in Korea."
