Daegu Labor Office Holds 'Job Demand Day'... 11 Companies to Hire 60 New Employees
Daegu Employment and Labor Office (Director Kim Kyuseok) will hold the 'Daegu Youth-Gyeongbuk Companies Job Demand Day' interview event on the 26th, in collaboration with Yeongcheon City Employment Support Center, Gyeongbuk Employers Federation Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center, and Gyeongbuk Regional Human Resources Development Committee, to support youth employment in Daegu and address recruitment difficulties for companies in Gyeongbuk.
'Job Demand Day' (held during the 3rd to 4th week of each month) is an on-site interview event hosted at the 'Daegu Employment Welfare+ Center' in cooperation with related employment support organizations, aiming to help local companies recruit the talent they need in a timely manner. In addition, every Wednesday, various programs such as job consulting, special employment lectures, and group counseling sessions are offered.
The Job Demand Day interview event will be held after the participating companies' briefing sessions are completed.
Eleven companies, including Sewonmulsan Co., Ltd. and Hanjung NCS Co., Ltd., will participate in the interview event, recruiting 60 new employees across 10 fields such as office work, quality control, and production. Job seekers who have applied in advance for interviews with participating companies will attend, and general job seekers who meet the recruitment requirements of the participating companies can also freely participate in the interview event.
Meanwhile, the Daegu Employment and Labor Office is implementing the Leap Guarantee Package project for companies facing recruitment difficulties and job seekers. This project provides comprehensive services ranging from diagnosis, consulting, to employment and recruitment support, tailored one-on-one to each participant, and has been ongoing since its pilot operation in August 2022.
The Corporate Leap Guarantee Package identifies local companies struggling with recruitment and provides services such as diagnosing recruitment challenges, consulting to improve working conditions, and customized talent matching tailored to each company's situation.
The Job Seeker Leap Guarantee Package uses professional counselors and AI-based Job Care to assess individual job capabilities, and offers a package of services including in-depth counseling for career planning and tailored support.
Kim Kyuseok, Director of the Daegu Employment and Labor Office, stated, "Through the interview event in collaboration with Yeongcheon City Employment Support Center and related organizations, we hope to resolve the mismatch between young job seekers in Daegu and companies in Gyeongbuk, and to provide practical support in filling job vacancies in local root industry companies through the Leap Guarantee Package project."
