Blizzard to Participate in Gamescom Germany... Introducing New Titles Including WoW
World of Warcraft: Internal War, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, and More to Release Within the Year
Blizzard Entertainment announced on the 21st that it will participate in Gamescom, held in Cologne, Germany on August 21, to celebrate the upcoming releases of 'World of Warcraft: Intrusion War' and 'Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred' scheduled for release within the year.
At this year's Gamescom, Blizzard Entertainment plans to join the Xbox booth to introduce upcoming games and provide an opportunity to interact with communities worldwide, including Europe.
Johanna Paris, President of Blizzard Entertainment, said, “We are very pleased to showcase Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch to Blizzard communities across Europe through Gamescom. Through this event, we aim to have a gathering with outstanding Blizzard developers and players visiting Cologne, and to celebrate the special bonds created together within the Blizzard universe.”
World of Warcraft will be released simultaneously worldwide on August 27, one day after Gamescom ends. Players who purchase the Intrusion War Mythic Bundle or the physical collector's edition can play Intrusion War early starting August 23 when pre-access begins.

Blizzard will also officially showcase the world of Sanctuary from Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred and Diablo Immortal at this Gamescom. Additionally, in collaboration with Porsche, Blizzard will present a life-sized Overwatch 2 character 'D.Va Statue' inspired by the new all-electric Porsche Macan, and invite fans to a space that realistically recreates iconic battlefields from Overwatch 2.
