Mutual Support for Jeonse Rental Housing Project for Vulnerable Groups
Gijang-gun (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on the 21st that it signed a mutual business agreement on the 20th with the Gijang-gun branch of the Korea Association of Certified Realtors (Branch President Han Unggu) to support housing stability for vulnerable groups.
This agreement was promoted to efficiently link the housing welfare delivery system for vulnerable groups by supporting prospective tenants, who have been selected as tenants for LH or BMC jeonse rental housing but have given up on their contracts because they could not find suitable properties. The Korea Association of Certified Realtors will utilize its expertise and experience to assist in searching for jeonse rental housing for these individuals.
Through this agreement, the two organizations promised to actively cooperate not only in searching for jeonse rental housing but also in establishing a comprehensive housing welfare safety net by providing guidance on housing welfare systems and information related to lease protection whenever vulnerable groups are identified.
Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang-gun, said, "I would like to thank the Gijang-gun branch of the Korea Association of Certified Realtors for willingly participating in this project for vulnerable groups in our region, even though the real estate industry is struggling due to the prolonged downturn in the market. We will do our best to provide customized housing welfare services that can be truly felt by the vulnerable through continuous cooperation."

The jeonse rental housing support system is a system in which those selected as tenants for jeonse rental housing can choose a jeonse property within the support limit, after which a public housing operator (such as LH or BMC) and the owner of the property sign a jeonse contract, and then the property is subleased to the selected tenant.
