Chungnam Police Catch 21 Drunk Driving Cases in One Day
7 License Cancellations, 9 License Suspensions, 5 Warnings
The Chungnam Provincial Police Agency announced on the 21st that they caught 21 cases of drunk driving in one day.
The police deployed 140 officers the previous day to conduct drunk driving crackdowns in entertainment districts, restaurant areas, and highway toll gates across the province. The crackdown resulted in 7 license cancellations, 9 license suspensions, and 5 warnings.
In particular, 4 cases of drunk driving were caught at the Dangjin Tollgate exit, including a driver of a special cargo vehicle connected to a 24-ton trailer.
