Suwon City, 1st Anniversary Event of Mobile Civic Participation Platform 'Saebit Toktok'
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of the ‘Saebit Toktok’ service by holding a ‘First Birthday Celebration Quiz Event’ from the 24th of this month until July 14th.
Saebit Toktok is a mobile civic participation platform that officially started service on July 1, 2023.
Suwon City will randomly select 150 winners from those who answer correctly and award 20 people with a 30,000 KRW delivery app mobile gift card, 30 people with a 20,000 KRW delivery app mobile gift card, and 100 people with 3,000 Saebit Toktok mileage points. Winners will be notified individually on July 17.
On the ‘Citizen Proposal’ board of Saebit Toktok, citizens can propose policy ideas, and other citizens discuss these ideas by commenting. Ideas that gain wide public support are reviewed by the relevant department, and if adopted, can be implemented as policies.

Currently, there are about 68,000 registered users, and 425 policy ideas have been proposed by citizens. Among these, 37 ideas have been adopted as proposals after citizen discussions and departmental reviews.
