Gwangju Dong-gu Selected as 'Best Institution' by Ministry of Health and Welfare
The Dong-gu Support Health Living Support Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City has achieved the great honor of being selected as the "Best Institution" in the '2024 Health Living Support Center Project Performance Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
With this, the Support Health Living Support Center, selected as the best institution for two consecutive years, will receive a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare and a prize of 5 million won.
This evaluation, conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Promotion Institute, targeted 92 health living support centers nationwide and was based on the project performance over the past year.
The center received high marks through the implementation of key projects such as ▲ formation and operation of health leader resident health organizations and local health councils ▲ 1:1 customized health management through health manager services ▲ linkage with community support contest projects for creating healthy village environments ▲ operation of health clubs by living area ▲ operation of physical activity programs for health-vulnerable groups such as elderly living alone.
