'2024 1st Future Innovation Committee Meeting'

The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 20th that it held the ‘2024 1st Future Innovation Committee Meeting’ at Naver in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
At the meeting, committee members including Chairman Han Byung-jun, Chairman of the Korea Information Industry Cooperative, Lee Jun-bok, Chairman of the Korea Blockchain Business Cooperative, Han Jae-ho, Chairman of the Korea IoT Convergence Business Cooperative, and Park Jong-cheol, Chairman of the Korea Unmanned Security Business Cooperative, as well as representatives of cooperatives from various industries and expert members, attended.
The committee reviewed Naver’s technologies such as digital twin, robots, and artificial intelligence (AI), which can be applied to ‘autonomous manufacturing’ and ‘unmanned service industries.’ They also visited ‘Naver 1784,’ a tech convergence building, to experience technologies including 5G brainless robots.
A Naver official stated, “We are striving to create a sustainable ecosystem through our in-house SME support program ‘Project Kkot’ to support business growth and digital transformation, as well as through strategic investment organizations investing in early-stage technology startups. We will continue to do our best to help various small and medium partners grow together with Naver.”

Han Byung-jun, Chairman of the Future Innovation Committee, emphasized, “Digital transformation (DX) may seem like a vague challenge for SMEs, but if existing industries and new technologies are converged, it can become an opportunity to secure a competitive advantage. Please further expand the SME digital transformation support programs currently being implemented as part of win-win cooperation.”
