The Korea Economic Leaders Association announced that it will hold the '2024 KEL CEO Jeju Summer Forum' from July 10 to 13 at Lotte Hotel Jeju in Seogwipo City, Jeju Island. Former President Lee Myung-bak will deliver the keynote speech on the first day of the forum.
Former President Lee plans to share his experiences and wisdom gained as a business leader, Mayor of Seoul, and President with the businesspeople attending the forum. He will present the direction that South Korea and its companies should take.
Now in its 37th year, this year's forum theme is "The Era of Great Transformation, The Path to Becoming a Top-tier Company - Challenge and Innovation." Participants will hear diverse management cases and insights from Ham Young-joo, Chairman of Hana Financial Group; Shin Hyun-woo, President of Hanwha Aerospace; and Bae Kyung-hoon, Director of LG AI Research Institute.
Also, John B. Quinn, founder and CEO of Quinn Emanuel, a global law firm known for its strength in international litigation, will appear as a speaker.
The event will also feature a performance by Jeju's oldest private orchestra and a concert by singer Insooni.
