Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Seyong) announced, "Hanul Unit 6 (pressurized water reactor, 1,000MW class), which halted power generation for intermediate maintenance on June 12, resumed operation at 3:19 PM on the 16th and reached 100% output at 7:40 PM on the 17th."
During the intermediate maintenance period, the cause of the pressure drop in the turbine lubrication system was identified and addressed, and the integrity of the related equipment was thoroughly inspected.
