Korean Air Signs Follow-up Contract with Boeing to Supply Airframe Structures for Four Aircraft Models
Korean Air announced on the 17th that it has signed a follow-up contract with the U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing for fuselage structures of four aircraft models. Korean Air agreed to additionally supply fuselage and wing structures for the B737, B767, B777, and B787, which are currently being supplied to Boeing, from 2025 to 2029. The contract amount will vary depending on the number of units delivered. However, based on aircraft sales forecasts for 2025 to 2029 projected by aircraft manufacturers and major market analysis firms, the order amount is expected to be approximately 900.3 billion KRW.
