Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, departed for Hong Kong and Singapore on the 17th to promote the corporate value-up program.
Chairman Jung plans to hold the 'K-Value-Up Global Roadshow' event in Hong Kong on the 18th and in Singapore on the 20th, where he will meet with major foreign investors participating in the Korean stock market to explain the implementation and progress of the corporate value enhancement plan guidelines. He will also request increased investment in the Korean market through separate meetings with institutional investors.
Additionally, Chairman Jung will discuss cooperation measures between exchanges through meetings with the Chairman of the Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Furthermore, he plans to hold discussions with domestic financial institutions located in Hong Kong and Singapore, urging them to actively work to resolve the Korea discount even while overseas.
