Gyeongbuk Express, Aseong, and Geuma Bus Group Donate 60 Million Won for Low Birth Rate Fund to Gyeongbuk Province
Gyeongbuk 4-H Donates 10 Million Won
Gyeongbuk Express Co., Ltd., Aseong Cheonma Express Co., Ltd., and Geuma Bus Group Co., Ltd., intercity bus operators in the Gyeongbuk region, announced on the 16th that they have delivered a donation of 60 million KRW to Gyeongbuk Province through the Community Chest of Korea to support overcoming low birth rates, a key policy initiative of the province this year.
Although intercity bus operators in the Gyeongbuk region are facing management difficulties due to a sharp decline in passengers and reduced revenue caused by COVID-19, they decided to join the efforts to overcome low birth rates out of a sense of crisis regarding population decline and the seriousness of the low birth rate issue, as well as to fulfill their social responsibility, in line with Gyeongbuk Province's strong commitment to this cause.

The transportation industry will also seriously consider what roles we can play in addressing this issue."
The Korea 4-H Gyeongbuk Headquarters also delivered a donation of 10 million KRW to Gyeongbuk Province on the 13th to support overcoming low birth rates.
In response to the risk of rural population extinction and in recognition of the seriousness of the low birth rate issue, 1,100 members gathered their intentions and donated funds to serve as a catalyst for overcoming low birth rates.
Tak Sanghun, the president, expressed his determination by saying, "As the 4-H Association has led the development of agriculture and rural communities, we will actively participate in overcoming the low birth rate issue. The 4-H Association will stand together until the day we win the war against low birth rates."
Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, said, "Thank you for joining the fundraising efforts to help overcome low birth rates. The donations will be used carefully for projects aimed at overcoming the low birth rate issue."
